1. Book Your Session with a Trusted Richmond Boudoir Photographer

Start by choosing a photographer with a style you love, duh ME! Look through portfolios, read reviews, and ensure they prioritize client comfort and empowerment. I recommend scheduling your session at least 4–6 weeks in advance to allow time for planning and preparation.

2. Decide on Your Vision & Style

Think about the look you want—romantic, sultry, playful, or elegant. Share your ideas so we can tailor the shoot to reflect your personality and preferences.

3. Select Your Outfits

I always recommend to bring at least one bra/pant set or lingerie that you have tried on before hand that’s well fitting and you feel confident in. I have a client closet filled with lingerie and accessories in sizes XS-4X. We typically shoot about 3 outfits in total.

4. Skincare & Grooming

Prioritize skincare in the days before your shoot:

  • Exfoliate to remove dead skin
  • Moisturize daily for a glowing complexion
  • Stay hydrated
  • IF you are planning on body waxing please try and schedule at least 48 hours prior to session as sometimes the skin can be red or sensitive.
  • IF you are planning on getting a spray tan please try and schedule at least 48 hours prior to session.

5. Communicate Your Expectations

Share your ideas and any specific shots you want beforehand. Clear communication ensures we capture exactly what you envision.
