This has to be the very first question I get asked by clients after they book their Boudoir shoot. “What do I wear?”. The answer to that can be whatever the hell you want! Anything from ripped jeans and a bralette to completely nude, and everything in between. In this blog I will breakdown some of my favorite pieces and places to shop both online and local boutiques in Richmond, Virginia.
Comfy:
For a more relaxed modest look try pairing your favorite ripped jeans with a matching Calvin Klein set or add a touch of with a lace with my favorite Adella Bralette from Free People.
2. Bodysuits
I love a good bodysuit, they are so flattering on all body types. You can go for a more full coverage option with double-layer fabric shapeware, or a super sexy vibe with see through mesh or lace bodysuit. Either you can’t do wrong.
3. Bra, Panty, and Garter Set.
The classic bra, panty, and garter set is a boudoir client favorite. Add a pair of thigh highs and heels for sophisticated, sexy look.
4. Accessories.
Last but not least, accessories. Black fishnets are a studio staple, can be worn with a black thong or under lingerie. I have a full client closest in sizes 4X – XS available for clients to wear during your boudoir shoot, including booty chains.
Shopping, yes please!
Some of my favorite places to shop online for my client wardrobe includes:
Splurge: Honey Birdette , Agent Provocateur, Thistle & Spire.
Midpoint: Blue Bella, Lounge, Savage X Fenty.
Save: Fashion Nova & Yandy.
